Remains of the Day: Google Images Will Now Search for GIFsGoogle Image Search now does what it should have done long ago, Hulu Plus gets a redesign for Apple TV, Redbox Instant launches on Xbox 360, and Google Hangouts gets a capture app.

  • Google Images Adds Filters for Animated GIFs Today Google started rolling out a new filter for Google Images and Google+ that will allow you to search exclusively for animated GIFs. You'll find it under the "Any type" option when you click on Search Tools. [CNET]
  • It's a Brand New Style for Hulu Plus on Apple TV Hulu Plus' Apple TV app received a redesign today. The new interface has content categories across the top navigation bar, a "Shows You Watch" tray, and a new feature that instantly plays the latest episode of whatever show you've selected when you hit the play button. You'll have to make sure your Apple TV firmware is up-to-date in order to see the redesigned app. [Hulu]
  • GameTrailers and Redbox Instant Launch Today on Xbox 360 Video streaming/movie rental service Redbox Instant by Verizon is now available on Xbox 360. You can get the app for free from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, but you'll need to subscribe to Xbox LIVE Gold in addition to the $8/month that Redbox Instant will cost you in order to use it from your console.   • Introducing the Hangouts Capture App: Snap & Save Moments as They Happen Google has released a new Hangouts Capture app that will allow you to natively snap and share photos within Google Hangouts with a single click.   • 2013 Spring Seller Update eBay is streamlining its rate plans for sellers and offering free listings for Store subscribers as well as independent sellers. The new rate plans will charge between 4-9% based on one of five categories whatever you're selling falls in for stores and a 10% flat fee for sellers who do not have a Store subscription. [eBay]
